Joining the Plan

Eligibility

To join the Plan you must be employed by Qantas Airways Limited or one of the participating employers registered with the Plan. If you are not sure if your employer is a participating employer please contact your employer or the Plan.

Once you commence working at Qantas you will automatically become a member of the Plan. There is no need to complete an application form unless you work for one of the following airlines:

• Airlink
• Eastern Australia Airlines
• Southern Australia Airlines
• Sunstate Airlines

Divisions

There are a number of divisions within the Plan. Each division has its set of rules and its own Product Disclosure Statement or, in some cases, Information Booklet.

If you do not know which division you are a member of, you can find out your division by:

• Looking at your latest annual member benefit statement (if you are already a member); or
• Contacting the Plan and simply quote your staff number;or
• Referring to your letter of appointment (if you’re a new member)
