How we’ve performed against our objectives

Both the Balanced and Growth investment options have performed strongly over their investment time horizons outperforming their return objective by +2.0% p.a. and +1.6% p.a. respectively. This is a good result. The Conservative option has marginally outperformed its return objective by +0.1% p.a. over its stated investment time horizon. The Aggressive option, which has a 10 year return objective, continues to be burdened by the negative returns experienced in the 2008 Global Financial Crisis. This table sets out our investment options returns against our objectives.
