Catch up on our first Annual Member Meeting
We held our very first Annual Member Meeting on Friday 4 December, giving members a chance to hear from our Board and management team.
Qantas Domestic’s Head of Performance Financial Planning, Hendrik Van Calcar, has been elected to the Qantas Superannuation Limited Board.
Almost 580 members voted in the election for a Group E representative. View the results notice.
Former Group E Director, Greg Manning, chose not to stand for re-election.
Board Chair, Anne Ward, congratulated Hendrik: “I’m sure that Hendrik will be a strong addition to the Board and I look forward to working with him.”
Hendrik holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant.
Anne thanked Greg for his active commitment to the members of Qantas Super over the last eight years.
“Greg’s member focus and keen mind meant that he was a valued and valuable director. On behalf of the Board, I thank Greg for his service over and above his other commitments to Qantas. He’ll be missed by all on the Board.”
Group E includes Airline Officers’ Award Level 5 – Senior Professional 2, Executive/Management Framework employees, Business & Information Technology Professionals and Professional Engineers.

With Bruce Roberts stepping down from his role as Group B Director at the conclusion of a four-year term, we recently welcomed Klair Safier to the Qantas Super Board.
Qantas Super had the opportunity to welcome a number of new faces this year, with four new additions joining our team on secondment from the wider Qantas Group.
