Qantas Super Explores Merger Options. Learn more.

Qantas Super held our inaugural Festival of Super at Mascot Campus on Thursday 2 February 2023, welcoming members to meet our team and get to know more about how their super works and where it’s invested.

As part of the event, we welcomed our insurer, MetLife, and a number of our investment partners to meet members on The Street.

If you weren’t able to attend, here’s a quick wrap up of the day:

Our Member Engagement team

Our Super Advice and Member Care teams were on The Street to chat and answer questions about Qantas Super.

If you missed them, you can check when they’re visiting your workplace and book a one-on-one appointment here.

Meet the team

MetLife

Our insurer, MetLife joined us to talk about their 360Health Virtual Care service, which is available to all Qantas Group staff and their immediate families at no additional cost. 360Health Virtual Care offers a range of services including:

  • Medical: Request an in-depth second medical opinion from an expert specialist or submit general questions online to a GP or paediatrician.
  • Mental Health: book an in-depth mental health review or ask a general mental health question online
  • Nutrition: book a nutrition consultation
  • Fitness and recovery: seek advice and a personalised action plan from an exercise physiologist to help with fitness or recovery from an injury

MetLife held a competition on the day, with everyone who registered for 360Health Virtual Care going into the draw to win a pair of AirPods. Nikki McConville, a Crew Performance Manager, was the lucky winner!

One of our investment managers, Liverpool Partners, kindly arranged for two of their portfolio companies to join us.

Seven Miles Coffee Roasters

Our investment manager, Taronga Ventures, joined us to showcase the innovative things that their portfolio companies are working on in the world of ‘RealTech’, or real estate technology. Taronga’s focus is on driving real and measurable change, to create a better built environment through sustainable and responsible investment.

Joining George and Chanelle from the Taronga Ventures team were Derek Feebrey and Fiona Church, the founders of Trendspek.
